Light in Motion

Contemporary stained glass by Lara Fields. Glass is rigid. Light is not. Every piece begins with that tension - color and light pushing against the material, projecting into the space around it, shifting with the sun and the season. My work is about what the natural world feels like: the weight of a wave, the silence before dawn, the power of something so much larger than you.
